Councillor Vacancies

Aylesham Parish Council currently has one vacancy for the position of Parish Councillor.

Following the recently advertised casual vacancy for the statutory notice period, the Returning Officer for Dover District Council has confirmed that the regulation 10 requests from electors have not been fulfilled and the Council can now fill the casual vacancy by co-option.

To apply to become a Councillor with us, please read through the documents below and submit your completed Councillor Co-option Application Form and send it to the Parish Clerk. Along with your application, please confirm that you consent for your application form be passed to the Members of Aylesham Parish Council.

The closing date for applications is 12pm on Tuesday 30th April 2024. Candidates will then be invited to attend the Annual Council Meeting which is on Tuesday 14th May 2024.
